Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
Your problem is most likely costochondritis of ribs.Pain while palpation is characteristic. But it is better to have an ECG and Chest X ray to rule out cardiac or lung problem. For my patients with costochondritis i treat with anti inflammatory gels of diclofenac or nimusulide for local application. For some patients i give the tablets of same for oral intake also.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
