How To Treat Shoulder Pain After Hearing A Cracking Noise?
Hello, My son was lifting weights at the gym tonight and heard and felt a pop in his shoulder area. He is able to rotate his arm in a complete circle, but he is experiencing pain from the area. Should he seek medical attention or ice it and take ibuprofen for a couple of days to see if it feels better?

Seems to be that he has pulled a muscle in his shoulder. There are creams available which give soothing heat to the muscles. Apply twice daily.t Take a painkiller like ibuprofen and a muscle relaxant like baclofen or tizanidine
