Hello,

You are having sinus infection and are also suffering from bronchitis. You are already under treatment and presently you are feeling dizzy and nauseated. You still feel worn out with with sinus pressure. Perhaps you are suffering from chronic sinusitis. When tissues inside your sinuses become inflamed and blocked for a long period of time due to swelling and mucus buildup, it may makes you feel uncomfortable and worn out.

Have patience as chronic infections take time to get better. Do continue to take your prescription medicines. Get a repeat chest X-ray done to assess infection (bronchitis) in the lungs or improvement. In the meantime, you can also get clinically evaluated to rule out cystic fibrosis that may trigger the symptoms. Get STD tests done to stay on the safer side, get tested for HIV as it may weaken your immune system.

Your treatment will depend on the diagnosis made. Stay away from addictions if any. Get into the habit of inhaling steam from hot water or use a humidifier to drain mucus and reduce inflammation. Get X-ray PNS done to detect deviated nasal septum. If it is detected you may be recommended surgery by your treating doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
