hi i was taken into hospital i few months back now, after a bad panic attack, ive suffered with panic attacks for years now and also have sleep apnia, after having an ECG i was told i had an inverted t-wave through v5 & v6 however i am no wiser as to what this means for me? & also if my sleep disorder could cause my ECG to be the way it is? i am veay scared and would be gratfull of anything you could tell me on this matter or any advice you could give, thanks
You can rest your mind the inverted T-wave is a mere descriptor of the cardiac waves on the ECG. If they are not showing up anywhere else and you are not having any symptoms which can be related to the heart then, the person who gave you the information should've gone on to tell you what I'm telling you. The advice is not to further concern yourself with this detail and find a good therapist or psychologist to help you with what I believe is a bigger concern that you probably have which is the panic attacks.
