How To Treat Sore Throat, Fever, Discomfort Eating And Painful Ear?

My 13 and 8 year old daughters have had fever (99.6-101.2), very sore throat, with discomfort eating ad swallowing. swollen glands, watery, blood shot eyes, minor /moderate ear pressure/pain. Minor chest congestion, Infrqent sneezing. Saw pediatrician, negative strep. Miserable for 9 days now. What would you do?

Thanks for consulting me at virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.
 
You didn't add in question, any medication, the pediatrician gave.

Anyway ask a prescription from pediatrician for Cefixime. For 13yr old baby give 200mg twice daily. For younger one, give oral suspension 4mg of drug per kg of baby weight, two times a day. Give for 5days to both kids.
Plus Syrup Tylenol 2TSF twice daily to older, 1TSF to younger baby.
