I just got over a self diagnosed cold. My symptoms were soreness in the thoart, lots of mucus build up, and a lingering couch. Now I feel fully recovered but I discovered that I have this bump in the back of my throat. Every time I swallow or clear my throat there is a irritating soreness. Please advise.

Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding sore throat due to bump. You have taken treatment but still your problem is persisting.

Asper your symptoms it appears as you are having sore throat with GERD. To diagnose and manage it properly you should do-

1- Culture and sensitivity of throat swab.

2- X-Ray paranasal sinuses and chest.

By the co-relation of clinical findings with inferences of above investigations one may made the diagnosis and that may be accordingly manage.

Regards.
