How To Treat Stabbing Pain In Right Side Of Chest Radiating Towards Jaw?

I have had my gall bladder removed but at times still get stabbing pain in right side of my chest which migrates up to my right lower jaw. I found that nuts aggravated this so I do not eat them any more. I just had another attack, what else should I eliminate from my diet?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you're having acid reflux. Avoid foods that aggravate or precipitate. And take antacid after meals. Get upper endoscopy and abdominal ultrasound to check it out.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
