How To Treat Stomach Upset, puffy Cheeks And Shoulder Pain Post Cervical ESI?

8-29-13 I had my 2nd cervical ESI. I experienced horrific pain over the next 5 days, including stomach upset/pain, red puffy cheeks, neck, arm & shoulder pain. This morning my BM was black. I m not experiencing the stomach pain at this time. Should I be alarmed?

Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears that you have some bleeding into the gastrointestinal tract.May during the induction of the anesthesia,or the surgery. The black stool shows there is bleeding in the G.I. tract.
The pains could be due to the infection in the area of bleeding,or surgery.
I advise you to consult a gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have a C.T.scan,and Gastroscopy for for diagnosis. Color Doppler may help in finding the oozing point.
Avoid taking spices, junk foods, and oily foods. Also avoid untimely foods.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
