How To Treat Stool Problem In Premature Child Of 8 Weeks?

..my five week prem baby is now 8 weeks old has problems bring up wind so giving gripe water every other feed but still seems to have prblems only passes stools very 2 to 3 days when its like water is this a problem.

Hi, thanks for writing..
Dont worry.. It is quite common to have altered bowel habits in newborn.. If the baby feeds properly and donot have excessive cry, no need to give medication.. The baby should pass motion atleast once in every 5 days and it shouldnot be solid in consistency.. Watery stools are common till 3 months.. hope I have answered your query.. God day..
