How To Treat Sunburn On Back And Face Leading To Itchiness?
YES THAN K YOU. AFTER BEEN IN THE SUN I CAME BACK HOME 3 WEEKS AGO AND HAD A VERY BAD SUNBURN IN MY BACK. THEN I DEVELOPED BRONCHITIS AND WENT TO THE DOCTOR AND THEY GAVE ME EXTREMELY HEAVY ANTIOBITICS. THEN THE ITCH IN MY BACK STARTED AND NOW I HAVE BUMPS IN MY FACE REALLY ITCHY. THEY LIKE PIMPLES, BUT THEY OPEN UP WITH A DOT IN THE MIDDLE AND REAL ITCHY. I APPLY ANTIGERMS CREAN AND GO AWAY BUT THEN SOME MRR CAME ON.
Thanks for your query. The symptom you describe in your query indicates towards a condition of severe sunburn. When you experience sunburn blister don't pop up immediately but appears after sometime.
I would suggest you to apply aloe vera gel, don't pick then and apply broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF15 on affected area while going outside. Also apply cold compresses to affected area.
You should noy ignore blisters due to sunburn because in long run they will damage your skin and probability of skin cancer increases .So immediately consult dermatologist for proper treatment
Hope your concern has been resolved. Get Well Soon. Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
