How To Treat Swelling Of Throat,dizziness And Headache?
Hi Dr. I v this problem which happen four days ago. I start having a slight feeling of difficulty of swallowing. Then the next day I felt dizziness and problem of chewing and swallowing. Then I couldnt keep my balance. I took MRI and it s is normal. I still v a very painful headache. I v nt taken any treatment. One side of my toung around my throat swollen. I still v a problem of clearly focusing. if I make a sudden movement from one side to another , I feel like I lost my position. Thank u Dr for ur help.
Hi. All the symptoms are related to the upper respiratory tract infection. The Pharyngitis is so severe so that it is difficult for you to swallow. The infection which has migrated to the internal ears gives inflammation of the balancing apparatus situated in the internal ear hence you are getting giddiness., The chewing problem is due to affection of the temporo-mandibular joints.
I would recommend you to undergo tests of blood culture and other relevant tests , be on intravenous antibiotic , supplementary anti-inflammatory medicines , medicines for vertigo you have , a complete bed rest and see the prognosis. It is always better to get admitted.
