How To Treat Swelling On Forehead And Fluid Filled Bubble Caused Due To An Injury?

2 days ago I fell off a 3 foot high bench and landed on my head. I have no symptoms of tbi. My neck is sore and a little stiff. I had a soft spot on my head that felt like a water bubble. A few hours later, the front of my forehead was swollen with a fluid filled bubble. 2 days later the fluid seems to be moving down my head and my eyelid is a bit swollen and seems filled with fluid. I did not have any moments of unconsciousness, no headaches, my husband woke me up every two hours and I answered the 3 questions correctly. My eyesight is fine, etc. It s been over 48 hours. Am I past worrying? What is this soft spot on my head and why is my eye puffy? The only pain I have is the point of impact and a stiff sore neck. I m on the phillipines on vacation and won t be back in the US for another month. Advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Yvonne

Dear;
Thanks for writing.
I understand ur concern.
The soft spot eid fluid collection is most probably a haematoma or a collection of ectracellular edema fluid in between soft tissue.
As u kept watch for tbi and it is highlighted unlikely that ur suffering frrom tbi.
For treatment point it will start regressing after2- 3days and u can use a cold compression. Along with that u shall start a course of antibiotics wid pain killers and chymotrypsin tabs to prevent fibrosis.
If it doesn't redolve within 7-8days I ll suggest u to visit a gen. Surgeon .
