How To Treat Swollen Ankle Caused By Bee Sting?

I got stung by a bee several hours ago and did not treat it.it swelled up my ankle and I have pain there as if I hit it against a coffee table how can I clean it im not allergic to bees. I got stung on the shin right above the foot YYYY@YYYY

Hello dear, I really appreciate your concern. First of all you have to remove the stinger by nail carefully. Apply ice to the swollen area. Elevate your limb. Take over the counter medicine like acetaminophen and ibuprofen to relieve pain and inflammation. Take antihistamine drug for itching. Prevent infection of the skin. As you are not allergic to bee sting no extra efforts are needed. Sting may take 2-5 days to heal.
