How To Treat Swollen Chin?

I took my boyfriend to the hospital two days ago due to the fact his chin was swollen and he couldnt eat, they told him it was a boil/ absest, and that they couldn t lance it off till a head arrived on it.... Now there is two and he still can t eat, sleep, talk what do I do

Hi! If he is in hospital, you need not to worry. Keep him pain free with good analgesics. Give him soft diets or fluids. Use straw if can't open the mouth. Talking can wait. Plan for incision and drainage if swelling is increasing. Keep using antibiotics for inflammation and fever if any.
