Understanding your concern.

Thanks for query .Mosquito sometimes act as a carrier for certain disease causing germs.So the swollen eye lide could be because of infection caused by insect bite or allergic reaction due to bite.

I would suggest you to take your son to pediatrician to prevent it to become complicated.Doctor may prescribe antihistamine drugs ,streroid cream or antibiotics.
