How To Treat Swollen Gums And Tooth Pain Caused After Injury?

I got hit in the mouth and nowy front tooth is wiggly. It's been a week since the incident and it still hurts now. I have sensitive teeth and when I breathe in deeply I still get the cold sting on it. There is no swelling on my gums. Should I be worried.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCAREMAGIC...

I have gone through your query and can understand your health concerns. .

As per y complain and explanation of symptoms it seems that due to injury either there is fracture in the crown of the tooth or in upper portion of root or else due to trauma the tooth has extruded from its position leading to mobility and pain and sensitivity is due to pulp exposure and pulp Inflammation (Pulp is central portion of the tooth that contains nerves and blood vessels) leading to PULPITIS..
You should consult a dentist and get evaluated and get an x Ray done and in case of crown fracture the tooth can be saved by doing Root Canal Treatment followed by Post n Core And finally capping of tooth with tooth coloured artificial crown..
In case of root fractures mostly the tooth has to be extracted..
In case of extrusion of tooth out of socket repositioning of tooth and splinting the tooth using orthodontic wires can be done but anything can be decided only after clinical evaluation by dentist..
As of now you can take OTC painkiller like Ibuprofen for pain relief and use a desensitizing tooth paste for sensitivity relief..

Hope this information helps..
