How To Treat Swollen Left Inner Cheek Causing Pain?
My left inner cheek has swollen so much that it is rubbing against the tooth in the very back of my mouth. There are some bumps that I can feel in my mouth, but it is so swollen I cannot even see them. What can I take or do to alleviate this pain? It is the most pain I have ever had.
thanks for your query, the swollen cheek could be because of the cellulitis that is spread of infection to tissue spaces from tooth infection. consult your oral physician get the examination and radiographs done to rule out the causative tooth. if i am your treating doctor i would have suggested you to start with a course of antibiotics and analgesics and do saline gargling. i hope my answer will help you take care.
