How To Treat Swollen, Red And Itchy Finger Caused By Bug Bite?

Im on holiday... ive been bitten by mosquitos throughout my body... mostly my arms n legs I woke up and found my finger was very swollen I thought it was a mosquito bit.. but after a couple of hours I couldnt close my finger it was so swollen and red and it wasnt itchy ... Could have been a bee or something....I put garlic on it coz its hot looks infected...What can I put on it...Should I drink antibiotics....I have an otocomb otic ointment cream would that help

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have swollen, red and itchy finger caused by bug bite . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , But in your case it seems to me that the symptom are due to infected wound , sting inside wound or allergy reaction from sting on insect . I would suggest you to clean the would suggest you to clean the wound with cold water and soap and keep it open . Also take over the counter anti histamine like zyrtec . If condition doesn't get well then consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor may give adrenaline short , antibiotics or corticosteroid ointment .
