How To Treat Tender Rash On Shin Bone?

I have a gash on my shin bone that won t heal over. It form some white substance on part of it and it drips clear fluid (like water). Tender to the touch. I am a 57 year old female.How should I treat this? Alcohol, Peroxide, Neosporin? Leave open, bandage?

Hi,
It seems that there might be having some soft tissue or skin infection over the part.
Clean local part properly with antiseptic lotion and apply antibiotic cream.
You can do the dressing and bandage it.
It might require one course of antibiotic medicine for 3-5 days.
Ok and take care.
