How To Treat The Burnt Spot On The Top Of The Mouth?

HI,
I burned a spot on the top of my mouth (hot casserole) one week ago. In spite of swishing with water and small amount of mouthwash or hydrogen peroxide, it continues to bother me. I am wondering if it could become infected, and does it need to be checked by my dentist?
Thank you.

you must be happy that any hurt in the mouth will heal really fast. Do not keep irritating the area with tongue or finger.Use mild mouth wash or saltwater rinse twice daily to prevent it from getting infected. You can use a gum gel to help heal it faster.
