How To Treat The Puss And Blood Oozing Bump Near The Nose Piercing, Antibiotics And Neosprin Offering Little Relief?

Hi,

I have got my nose pierced 1.5 month ago. 10 days after I got it pierced, a bump poped out near the piercing hole. It swells, drain pus, sometimes blood. In the beginning I have had some antibiotics. Now regularly using Neosporin powder on the infected area but no results. Please advice what should I do now.

Hi and thanks for the query,
It is better to remove the nose stud and once the infection heals completely you can try again.
OR
One last time you can try applying mupirocin ointment 3 times aday and it should be teamed with an oral antibiotic of the penicillin group.
