General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Maam,as you are a hysterectomised patient, did you take hormone replacement therapy or are you still on HRT?

HRT in the long run can be a cause for breast cancer.
Thickening of subcutaneous tissue around the nipple area which is tender can be due to
Areolar tissue infection,
mastitis,
malignancy.

You need to do a mammography, usg of the breast and a complete blood count along with a proper clinical evaluation which has to be performed by a general surgeon.

Meanwhile, have some antibiotics like cefixime and anti-inflammatory like aceclofenac and serratiopeptidase tablets for symptomatic relief.

Hope your query is solved.
Take care
