How To Treat Throat Pain?

Hey. I just had a question. my throat has been hurting for abou 4 days now. It's just recently (within the last two days) gotten severe. I see white spots in the back of my throat. & it's affecting my head now too. I have a huge headache. I've been taking generic medicine from the store from the last couple days & it's just getting worse. If I move my head up, swallow, chew, or anything I feel it in my throat. Tilting my head back, makes me want to cough. I can't get to a doctor right now because I'm on lockdown in a dorm. (I'm at tech school for the Air Force & there's a hurricane coming) I'd appreciate any advice on this. Or if you can just tell me if I'm going to need to go to the ER or what I should do. thank you.
