Hi, I am a college student, I am fairly healthy, I work out a few times a week and try to practice a healthy diet. A few times a week I have a tickle in my throat and it gives me a coughing fit for about 10 minutes. Ive tried drinking water when I feel it coming on but it doesn t help. It is really embarrassing and puts me in a panic mode every time I feel it coming on, please help me.
It seems from the history that you are having trickling sensation in throat. This indicates chronic inflammation of throat in the form of chronic laryngitis. This requires treatment by the use of decongestant drugs and anti-inflammatory drugs. Salt water gurgling provides symptomatic relief.
