How To Treat Tingling Sensation In Hands?

I was just wondering about my older brother... today he had to pull his car over and call 911 bc he had tingling hands so bad he couldnt drive he also slurred his words a bit. when his wife got to the hospital she found out that he had thrown up 3 times... what could be causing this
