How To Treat Tongue Blisters That Are Sore And Painful?
my daughter has this bubble like thing on the bottom tip of her tongue (I figured it was just a canker sore) now her tongue is white and dry and she has cuts or cracks or something along the sides. it is very painful for her and even soft foods are painful for her to eat. is there some kind of mouth rinse or something she can do to help it or is it something more that we should get her in to see a dr.?
Understanding your concern. As per your query tongue blisters on tongue of your daughter could be canker sore or aphthous ulcer. It could be due to minor injury inside mouth, poor immunity of body, food allergy and vitamin deficiency. I would suggest you to do chlorhexidine mouthwash rinses. You should apply lidocaine gel for pain. You should do warm salt water rinses several times day. You should avoid hot and spicy food and start taking vitamin B12 supplement. Minor form of blisters do not required any treatment and will resolve on its own. If condition doesn't get better in 2-3 days consult dentist/oral pathologist for proper examination and start treatment after that.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
