As per your complain in case due to
injury if there is
fracture in the Crown portion of tooth there are chances that the nerves are exposed leading to inflammation and pain..
Pain has reduced due to painkillers..
If there is fracture in the root portion it is better to get the tooth extracted..
In case of crown fracture although the pain is reduced but there can be infection and inflammation of nerves due to food lodgement and inflammation can also be due to
nerve irritation and it can become activated any time spontaneously and cause pain..
I would suggest you to get the
root canal treatment done so as to relieve permanently from pain and save the tooth..
