How To Treat Urinary Tract Infection?

Hey I had sex with a ex , it was protected, but he spit on the condom, a couple of days after we had sex I started to feel my fallopian tubes cramping, I have a burning sensation in my mouth and when I pee there is no pain and no burning sensation. I went to the hospital and I told them my STD symptoms, they test my urine and said it was a uti. They gave me keflex but I m still having the symptoms

Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

It can occur because of your sexual intercourse although it was protected with the use of condom as condom can not provide 100% protection from STDs and from UTI.

It could be severe urinary tract infection (if your urine reports is showing plenty of pus cells).

Anyway, you need to be detailed medical history and thoroughly clinical examination by a urologist to get ruled out any other kidney pathology or retrograde infection.

You might require antibiotics (quinolones specially levofloxacin in high dose or amixocillin with clavulanic acid) to combat urinary infection completely with other symptomatic treatment like pain killers,anti-inflammatory with syrup citralka 2TSF three times daily with plenty of water intake.

So,better consult to urologist immediately and take complete course of treatment.

Regards,
