General & Family Physician 's  Response
Welcome and Thanks for consulting me at my virtual clinic. I have worked through your case thoroughly, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not worry as things will settle down very soon.

Causes of your condition may be:
1.Bacterial infection
2.Sexually Transmitted Disease
3.yeast Infection- causes being pregnancy, sexual intercourse and weakened immune system
4.Menopause- causes thinning and drying of vaginal walls
5.chemical irritants etc

I have collected data from majority of my patients regarding their habits at home & based on that I can suggest a few tips for preventing and treating vaginal irritation at home:

* Avoid scented pads or toilet paper, creams, bubble bath, feminine sprays, and douches.

* Use water and a plain, unscented soap to regularly clean your external genital area. But don't wash more than once a day. Doing so can increase dryness.

* Always wipe from front to back after having a bowel movement.
Wear cotton panties (no synthetic fabrics), and change your underwear every day.

* Do not douche.

* Use condoms during sexual intercourse to prevent sexually transmitted diseases.

* If you are experiencing vaginal dryness, use a vaginal moisturizer. Apply a water-based lubricant (K-Y, Astroglide) before having sex.

* Avoid sexual intercourse until your symptoms improve.

* Don't scratch -- you can further irritate the area.

* Take a shower with Oatmeal Milk and Honey Body Wash.

Apply Clotrimazole cream in vagina and Wait for the lab report and based on that your physician will start new medications to cure that. You may also share that report with me in a follow up query and I will guide you how to move ahead and cure the disease fast.

May you get very well soon and have a wonderful time ahead. Please don't forget to give your valuable feedback to help me assist you in a better way. I will be waiting for a follow-up query to know how are you doing now.

Regards!
