How To Treat White Spots On Tonsils?

Hi my name is Amelia i am 17 uears old. I would like to know what is happening with my tonsils. They have white spots on them and are red and swollen, before this occured i had a very sore ear on my right side. Please i would really like to know what is going on as i cannot swallow because of the pain.

I have gone through your query and can understand..

As per your complain white spots over the tonsils seems to be due to Follicular tonsillitis and can be due to most commonly bacterial infection or viral infection with secondary bacterial infection..
You can consult an Otolaryngologist and get a Rapid Strep test done to confirm the infection and in case if there is bacterial infection antibiotics like Augmentin, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, warm saline gargles, steam inhalations and chewing Vitamin C to boost up the immunity can help..
Avoid spicy , hard and chilled foods and maintain a good oral hygiene..
Drink plenty of luke warm water and other fluids.
