How To Treat Yellow Colored Diarrhea In A Kid?

Hi,my one year old daughter got severe diarrhoea for the past 4 days.its fully yellow water.consulted her Peadiatrician, she given Taximo syrup, and Bacillus liquid for 4 days, given two days dose but still no changes in stool.her stomach is sometimes big to see.much worried she was born as underweight baby 1.7kg and now just 7.5kg. I m unable to concentrate on her foods to put on weight.plz do reply me.

Hello,

The yellow stool may need up to a week to get to its normal colour again. I recommend giving her fluids and rehydration solutions in order to avoid dehydration. Her situation will recover spontaneously.
