How To Withdraw Methadone Safely?

Hi, I am currently taking 150 mgs of methadone daily and have been for three years. I am wondering what the lowest dose you think I could take for the next week and half. I will be unable to go to my clinic and I have a few doses I ve put back. I know this is a horrible way to do it and should taper slowly. I m curious about the next 9 days. I will be back in town on the 26th.

Hello,

You can gradually taper the dose. You can cut short the dose to 75 mg and gradually stop the pill. If there is any withdrawal effects you have to consult a physician.
