How To Withdraw From Diltiazem?

I want to stop taking Diltiazem 120 mg. It s not really helping my blood pressure. Im 66 years old. I m showing signs of calcium loss and last month I had a lumpectomy for breast cancer. I have been on diltiazem for about 10 months. Can I just stop taking it? I missed a dose last week and had more energy the day of the missed dose. I use to take Lisinopril 10 mg and did better with that.
