How To Withdraw From Risperdal?

hi i am taking respidrol that my dr. neuro/psyc. insisted on but am not feeling good with it i am still having depression at times with it . i take respirol in the nt. and in the morning i take tritellex which i feel good with but the respirol does not complement with the tintellx in fact it counteracts wha t should i do stop the respir? initially i was not put on resp. it was added in later and i told the dr. that it doesnot suite me but he insisted i take it!

Hi,

Reaperdal is antiphycotic which is many times added to anti depressent for additional benefits. While Trintelex is a newer antidepressant.

Its very necessary that these drugs be taken with specialist advice. So stopping it without your doctor advice is not a good idea. I would personally suggest to contact your doctor and inform about your concern.

You may not need resperedal. He would plan for you according to your disease.
