How To Withdraw From Telmisartan And Cilacar?

Dr please give me advice that am taking morning Telmisartan H ( 40mg), and night cilacar 10mg for the past 10 years.. now my BP is 80/120.... Give me a suggestion to reduce the medicine slowly... Or is it any problems to face when it reduced... Krishnakumar.

Hello,

No need to wean off rapidly. You can withhold Cilacar for few days and check whether the BP is under control or not.

It is better to continue telmisartan to prevent long-term complications.
