How To Withdraw From Zonisamide?

I would like to wean off of my migraine preventative which is Zonisamide 200 mg, 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. How long should it take for me to get off this preventative? I have been having side effects I don t like. Well I should say that it s 100 mg x 2 which is 200 mg twice daily

You can taper off. Zonisamide 100 my per week before completely stopping the medication. So it will take 4 weeks to completely stop the medication. Please be advised to talk to your doctor before stopping the medication as it can cause rebound migrane or even seizure in some.
