How Will I Conceive If My Cervix Is Closed?

Hi I'm very concerned with what's going on with my body. The problem is that me and my boyfrined have been checking my cervix for about a month now. We noticed that even when im on my period my cervix is still closed. so it made me wonder if im ovulating even with my cervix being closed and all? how am i gonna get pregnant if my cervix is closed how is the sperm gonna get through? and lastly where is the blood coming from if my cervix is closed? is it a real period? Please help me !!!
