How Would One Treat Fibro-haze Densities In The Left Upper Lung Suggestive Of PTB?

Result: Fibrohaze densities in the left upper lung(overlying the left 5th-6th posterior ribs. The rest of the lung fields are clear. Heart and great vessels are within normal size and configuration. Other chest structures are not remarkable. Impression: Consider PTB, left upper lung. Please compare with previous study.

welcome to hcm ..fibrohaze densities in upper lobe points towards TB of lungs as there is no any other abnormality detected ..
the final diagnosis of tb is made by sputum examination for AFB under microscope and blood tests as TLC DLC ESR etc
probability of tb is more if person is smoker diabetic or on steroids and is having cough .fever ..sputum...breathing difficulty ..decrease appetite or weight
