Huge Lump In Shin Area After Hit A Steel Rod. Anything To Worry?

I have a huge lump in my shin area after i hit a steel rod about 3 weeks ago, it doesn t hurt only when i play sports or some strenuous work... my nurse told me it may be a shin splinter but i want to know if i should rest up and put ice on it or go to the doctors.

Hi...if you are not having pain then it is mostly a hematoma ( blood clot)....it will resolve by itself in a few weeks... just make sure you dont get injured at the same spot or it will get infected...
Take tab chymoral plus twice daily for 5 days...
