I A Couple Of Questions. I Had My First Laser

I a couple of questions. I had my first laser hair removal session about two days ago. I noticed that I still have a few hairs that didn't fall off during the session. I wanted to know if that is normal. I have had some hair shedding but other hairs have stayed. Also, can I shave the hairs that have stayed until my next session? I heard you should not pluck the hairs. I had laser hair removal on my chin.
