I Am 22yrs Old For The Past Three Days I Have Had Soft Red Stool.
Hi Doctor , I am 22yrs old for the past three days I have had soft red stool. I woke up this morning with my unexpected period with severe cramps and my stool was still soft but had chunks of red and clear. About 2 months ago I went to the ER passing massive amounts of blood and I was diagnosed with salmonella . Please help I am very worried!

passing red stools can be due to a gut infection again or due to something you have eaten.You need a stool test again to rule out any infection.Regarding untimely periods, it is due to your hormonal disturbance.
