Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 24 yrs old and I am 34wks pregnant. I have manic depression and could not take my antidepressants while pregnant. Smoking was the only thing that helped with episodes and with morning sickness. I stopped smoking daily and went to only smoking a time or two since I hit 32 weeks. I talked to my dr and he said if THC is all that shows that's the least of his worries but I'm still scared of another Dr delivering and CPS and etc. I know everyone's opinion on it but I have stopped and I just need to know if stopping at 34wks is enough time and what I can do to help. I have a csection scheduled at 39wks and I really just want my baby born healthy and I don't wanna worry about CPS. I don't do other drugs and I'd never smoked until last year.
