Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal.
Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query
the fact remains that
fatty liver involves all the enzymes of liver-
sgot sgpt, alp and ggtp. Now you say that the SGOT and SGPT have reduced, but ALP remains high. What I want to know is has it reduced at all or has there been no change.
If there has been a reduction in the levels of ALP, you need not worry. Just continue your medicine. And get a repeat test in 20-21 days. May happen that by then the enzymes will improve. ALP always takes longer to normalize.
If the levels are the same or increased, you may try other additional components like
silymarin and methylcobal. Usually these come in combination medicines, so you can meet your doctor and get a combipill.
Finally you should know that ALP is produced from liver as well as the bone. So in case you have any
bone pain or bony issues, that may affect ALP too. So let us know about that
I hope you have had your
lipid profile checked as well
I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above so i can be of help further. Best of luck.
