I Am 48 Years Old. I Am Scheduled For A

I am 48 years old. I am scheduled for a consultation on Tubal Ligation. Since my cycle started at 9 years old should I even be concerned with having the procedure? Also, I am taking Ortho-Tricyclen Lo BC, they are working fine but I worry because my body has been fooled by BC for a a very long time. I am just confused about what is best for me....Stay on BC or get a tubul ligation at the age of 48...
