I Am 51 Years Old Lady,having Random Blood Sugar Of 209 And Fasing Sugar Level Is 173. Am I Diabetic ?

Hi, Iam 51 years old lady. Yesterday evening I have checked my random blood sugar and it was 209. Today morning I have checked fasting blood sugar and it was 173. Am I diabetic? What are the precautions I have to take?

Yes you are definitely a diabetic. Please meet your doctor immediately for a prescription of oral hypoglycemic drugs. Your blood levels are within the range to be treated with tablets
Take the following precautions

1. Avoid foods rich in sugar and carbohydrates like sweets, rice, banana, guava, etc
2. Take care of your feet, wear diabetic slippers and always keep them well moiturized and dry
3. Take your meals regularly
4. Lose weight and go for walking 5 times a week minimum of 30 min each time
