I Am 64 Years Old, Female And Have Been To

I am 64 years old, female and have been to many doctors within the last year. I have a terrible cough that does not go away. I have never smoked. I do not get any answers. Some say it is allergy, some say a touch of ashmatic issues, some say it is Cape Cod. What concerns me is that almost every other day if I have lunch or dinner and cough I vomit. I am so frustrated and feel that perhaps I need to go to Mass General in Boston. Thanks
