Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 68 yrs. old / have right knee symptoms: swelling, difficulty walking, joint stiffness and joint aching (right knee only) Symptoms subside with ice and elevation. I've had arthroscopic surgery on both knees over 5 - 8 years ago. Symptoms are increased with daily activities. This has gone on for over a week. I walk daily for 45 min. 3 days ago I walked only 30 min/ yesterday 30 min and today also. I'll make apt with primary physician, but should I cease the daily walk routine, since I may not get the appt. for another 2 - 3 weeks?
