I Am Suffering From ITP, My Platelet Count Shows 80000.

I am suffering from ITP, low platelet count detected 2 months back. Under treatment with pednisolon since last 2 weeks. Needs guidance... Today my platelet count shows 80000.

you may require platelete transfusion . ITP is such that it takes long time to resole and prednisolone also will help in the recovery. till that time whenever you have an sort of reduction in the plaelete count to prevent the bleeding episode you need to take the platelet supplements in the form of blood transfusion
