I am a 49 year old female. I had a chest Xray in April 2014. The Xray findings say: Impression mild perihilar intersistal prominence and hyperinflation.
My history...I am moderate to severe Rheumatoid Arthritis. I took Methotrexate for approximately 5 years when suddenly I had a large jump in ALT from 41 to 109. I was taken off MTX and have taken Enbrel (allergic reaction), Cimzis (no results) and Humira for 18 months to present.
I had a Tuberculin Infection in 1967 and was treated with Izoniacid...sp? My Dad's family contracted TB immigrating from Finland.
I have had pneumonia 3xs, no have had shot. I have had Bronchitis several times but always resolved.
This October 2015, I became ill, high fever, shortness of breath. I failed to recover with acourse of Zithromax. I have been on three courses of Prednisone 40mg tapered to 10mg. I feel fine on Prednisone above 20mg. As soon as I go off I experience wheezing at exhale, crackling when lying down and shortness of breath. My physicians and specialists have stayed the are lost at what to do now. I have had 3 emergent nebulizer treatments, prosit inhaler not working for more than 2 hours.
