Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 63 year old male that most recently started hearing a constant hissing in my head. It is always there, but sometimes it gets louder such as today when I woke up from a nap on the couch it was almost blasting. I have high blood pressure, pre-diabetic, cholesterol and all are treated. It is mainly just annoying as I can think straight and feel no dizziness. It appears sleeping upright on couch for a short period of time triggers it and makes it louder. I did mention it to my MD about two months ago and felt like it was probably in my ears and having a hearing loss due to age, but no testing was done. Your thoughts? Thanks
